“Ever thought about what you would do when the world was no longer the safe place you thought it be? When every person you meet becomes an instant threat? When all around you turns to chaos, yet you have no idea what’s going on?”

“In Absolute Contamination, Keara Haynes tries to survive when the whole world changes so drastically. Keara and her two brothers are instantly forced to leave their home- completely unprepared and without time to say their goodbyes. Ordered to relocate to the Safe Zones, their journey proves treacherous as they meet many unexpected obstacles along the way. Despite the chaos all around, they must hurry because death is only a single touch away…”

In this story, the world is ravaged by a zombie-like disease, with no name and no cure. Even a single touch will give you the disease and you will die. Vicky takes you on an adventure you will never forget.

I read this story completely one day, and it is non-stop suspense with just enough time for readers to breathe. Also I do agree it should come with a warning, it definitely is addictive. Vicky makes you care for the characters and the emotional connection between them and the reader is rich.  This is unlike any story of the “zombie” genre I have heard of, sure there are similarities, but this feels realistic, like it could happen. (Imagine, a world epidemic like this! :/) Keara shows growth throughout the story becoming emotionally strong  and learning from her previous mistakes. Keara is portrayed to perfection with all of her thoughts clear and relate-able. (She also relates with me because of the close spelling of our names :P)

I recommend this story for fans of the supernatural or apocalyptic genre. This story is not for the emotionally heavy, because I have to admit it cried at least once reading this. You know a book is good when it makes you cry or feel frustration like this one did with me.  :)  This was a great story and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
